"Faerie of the Willow"
She peeks around the hedgerow, not wanting to be seen;
Furtively, she watches him; he's dressed in brown and green.
Pixie face and pointed cap, he is her one true love,
Sent in a dream by Queen Mab from the heavens up above.
She rushes out to meet him, a smile upon her face;
Faerie wings and spider webs and stockings made of lace.
They run together hand in hand to the standing stones,
Where ancient magic still exists and the old ones still call home.
Faerie of the Willow and Elfling of the Glen
Find the secret doorway and leave the world of men.
In the realm of twilight, they dance the faerie ring,
Fiddle and drum lead their steps and their voices sing.
Walking down a well-worn path, lit by fireflies
The lovers wander hand in hand under starry skies.
The time has come for them to leave this enchanted glen;
Passing through the secret door back to the world of men.
