Wind Walking from Fiji to the Gold Coast, Australia

Primal winds do not whisper soft...

I sit here buffered, yet permeated inside these breathing walls, while the tail winds of cyclone Winston wields 'her' wild tropical licking dance with everything she meets.

There's no ignoring the speak of tongues spawned of vortex, that churns the inner weather...

as it stirs-up the site of a needling, nagging wound from its hollow cavern of destruction...
- the stinging inoculation of self/other annihilation felt, is as yet survived...

inner has converged with the outer... the in, turns out
the spin reverses...
the still point within the chaos prevails

existent are the vortexes of the personal, the local, the regional...
so then too, the global, the universal, the micro and the macro, and the cosmic...

- they are all dynamic inter dimensional creatrix-vortexes available to our consciousness of being, that we can enter - to play -

Kali - The Goddess of Destruction (who I see as the archetypal shadow of The Great Mother) has her pivotal place in the pantheon - as a necessary agitating activator of power and change.

**Today international and local surfers thrill and risk by choice, riding the 5metre plus waves at closed beaches, in readiness for the annual Gold Coast surf comp'. Meanwhile, news reports tells us of one of the biggest cyclones to ever hit the Southern lands. And of whats she's carried over (seen and unseen) in the forceful energies of the same winds from that shore to this, as she sits just off the North Queensland coast.:

Cyclone Winston: Death toll reaches 21 as authorities continue to assess damage
Updated Mon at 9:24pm

There is growing frustration among Fijians who say they are yet to receive any help after a devastating cyclone struck the country on the weekend.

Key points:

Residents plead for supplies
More that 1,000 homes destroyed in one town, officials say
Fears growing for people on outlying islands
Australia sends four rescue helicopters
More than 1,000 homes were destroyed in Rakiraki, a major town on the north coast of Fiji's main island Viti Levu, and 500 have been partially damaged, local officials said.

The town looks like a bomb had gone off, with barely a building left unscathed.

Despite the devastation, the only sign of any aid relief is coming from the business community, which has handed out free cartons of water along Viti Levu's north coast.

Who was it that said "...man in his infinite wisdom will come remarkably close to suicide...]?
These things have a habit of re-bounding on the whiphandle holder.
