It seemed like time to post something positive.
I bring you a simple message of self empowerment, in all likelihood your body is telling you this already: if it's confusing it isn't truth.
Keep it simple and straight. Others may whine, but as Maggie discreetly stated, to thine own self be true.
Only when you indulge yourself by connecting with the real world & thereby, the universe, can you feel enough grounding and true self to be able to feel the joy and pain of other people, Real People on the individual level and not some cosmic plateau of platitudes.
Love yourself and don't ever ever ever say you are sorry for that. Sometimes it is healthy to let other capable humans worry about defending themselves.
If you are young, be happy and grateful. It passes quickly. If you are old, try to correct what you can and enjoy the rest.
Without the judgment of the establishment or the constant need for approval from some authority that changes every day.
We are all free beings.

I struggle hugely with consistency of demeanor, but even in my small city, I see those rare gems who manage to be wholesomely and wholly good to strangers and even to people in the community who are recognizable but not "desirable".
When we accept our smallness we are free to help all people no matter how small or insignificant
