A Protest of One (it's ok to lol)

Sometimes life tosses so much poo that the dung beetle doesn't know where to start rolling it up.

Sometimes we create our own poo. Higher species (haha) are good at this.

Even the humble ape knows his own poo from that of the frightening corporate unknown, but bury him in enough of it and he will lose his desire to throw at all.

...TODAY there was a lot of poo going on. Walla2 had a very large bike race that shut down our busier streets.

yours truly took advantage (shamelessly) of this roadblock scenario to stage a very humble one-man (woman?) Protest as angry frustrated diverted drivers barreled thru.

Before noon i went somewhat unsuccessfully to our two local community thrift stores. The first had a small american flag on a stick. The second had signboard and a cheap stick horse with strong dowel.

A headless horse and lots of tape later we had a two sided sign with American flag on top. Lol

One side reads "Forget Tax Exempt, Get Vaxx Exempt" (groan) and opposite simply said "Say no to the needle" & VAERS.HHS.GOV.

I had two smart guys, one old white who said Those who refuse to stand for anything stand for everything, wish i had his #, and the 2nd was a young looking foreign kid who had lived in Texas and New York... I figured he would make great undercover fed like Shorty from Hellstrom's Hive...

I had two other households ask questions then be happy for representation, and many waves and thumbs up.

Unfortunately we did have one woman give thumbs down from her SUV, a guy flipped me off from his car, and a punk on a motorcycle waited for the light before flipping me off.

In the last 20 I saw two police in a marked blue car waiting for the light 2nd in line by UB building. The passenger cop stared rudely but might have assumed tax exempt was referring to the fuzz.

I think two reporters with enormous cameras took pictures without announcing. Separately. Forgot to tell you I stood on corner in front of local newspaper to do the anti vaccine protest.

I hope they enjoyed a CIVIL, protected by 1st Amendment 1 man protest, wink. Since Mr Eskil told me to be civil I packed up my Gandhi and had a good afternoon.

Face cramp from fake smile and back out from farmer jeand but otherwise good.

;)

Today i went past the proposed Madison Park project site in Walla Walla, and saw some deer & moose sign near an open gate with gang tags by highway 12.

I'm enjoying the sunset over the blue mountains, and lo n behold, who do I see zooming up Pine street at 4pm Saturday, but the very same ninja bike ridin asshat who flipped me off!! Lmao.

He was on a green n white smallish ninja bike sorta thing, dressed like a policeman or guard. Opaque black helmet, jacket, tan khakis, black boots.

It wasn't a great memory, seeing him.
If he works at the prison he's probably cruel to the men.

:(

Seeing Madison park in the snow was sad. But i got a pretty picture of the stairs leading up to a tree against the blue sky before the storm came today.

Ps. Regardingmy son & vaccines. ..

So hes doing great allegedly and almost up to full day at school . Holy crap right?

But they claim mumps going round Spokane and threatened to suspend the unvaxed ones 25 days.

Social worker calmly explained that would really disappoint and mess up my kid's adjustment.

So i let them get away with the arm twisting at spokane public schools in order to prevent my son from losing access to his equal opportunity education.

After all this shit went down i did email my concerns to the casa.

Also he's hopefully only going to get a few, not the hep b, dtap, etc but the crucial ones. Which i explained to them, only work half the time if at all & may cause all sorts of problems, mentioned that economists and software engineers control the vaccine industry not good doctors.

:(

Fuckkkkkkk

Update.

I'm not sure if I shared that one one of this year's Web pages run by spokane health dept had a statistics chart,

It showed that appx 120 of 190 mumps cases sprang up in kids who had already received vaccine.

So how come the Walla social workers aren't reading the health dept updates of regions they send our kids? I think it's strange that even after telling him of the find, he kept towing the party line and would not shut his mouth and just listen to someone fresher, younger, more pained by the world and less entertained by its insincerity and classism?

Tour of Walla Walla bike races canceled
Vicki Hillhouse Mar 28, 2017 Updated 1 hr ago (…)
Organizers of Walla Walla’s annual cycling races are hitting the brakes this year.

Tour of Walla Walla has been cancelled for 2017 as participation in road racing declines across the country, organizers Mike and Kathryn Austin said in a recent email blast to participants.

The three-day, four-stage race that includes a downtown criterium where cyclists buzz through the paved streets as spectators cheer them on through the heart of the city, has been a 20-year tradition and an anchor of spring tourism activities.

But after a roughly $6,500 loss last year amid declining numbers, organizers need to see more participation to move forward again.

At least 300 participants are needed for the event to break even, they said. At one month before the event, just 40 had registered. Riders, they said, are waiting longer and longer to register for the races, making it difficult for promoters to organize. With projected registrations over the next month, organizers don’t think they’d make the target for Walla Walla and ultimately lose money, like they did last year.

“Yes, it was a difficult decision,” Mike Austin said via email this morning. “I feel as if we are letting riders down, but without their support our hands are tied.”

Whether the cancellation will be permanent has not been decided.

“We are brainstorming to come up with ideas to keep Walla Walla on the regional cycling calendar,” Austin said. “The Tour of Walla Walla has a respected history and introduced many cyclists to our wonderful community. We will be watching trends in cycling (competitive and noncompetitive) to help our decision-making.”

Visit Walla Walla Executive Director Ron Williams said the race brings in visitors from across the economic spectrum. Although the competitive cycling throughout the weekend may not give many riders a chance to participate in traditional tourism activities, the event helps fill hotel rooms and brings economic investment throughout the Valley.

Williams said he knows of participants who make efforts to set up special team dinners and events, too.

He said he’ll try to work with organizers to see if there’s a way to bring back the event.

Originally the event was scheduled for April 21-23.

In an open letter to participants and circulated on Facebook, Austin said he believes “the severe winter and lack of spring riding” have played into rough roads for races throughout the Pacific Northwest. But a switch from road racing may be a factor, too, he said.

“There is a downturn in road racing, a national trend that is affecting many races,” Austin said via email.

For registrants who can’t get refunds on their accommodations, the Austins plan to organize rides on the traditional courses during what would have been Tour of Walla Walla weekend. Details are in the works. Other plans include exploration of a gravel ride in the Blues.
