Standing in the graveyard,
The battlefield,
Admiring much taller men than me
Close my eyes and feel history
Are they happy, can they move?
Are my prayers getting through?
The night falls in black waves
Over stoneless rows of wild grass
Nameless graves
Hallowed by wanderers
From near and far
Some never leave the car
Because they feel
That in this place
Lie much taller men
Taller than Me

Taller than Me
Brotherhood falls asunder at the touch of fire!
He finds his fellow guilty of a skin
Not coloured like his own, and having power
To enforce the wrong, for such a worthy cause
Dooms and devotes him as his lawful prey.
~William Cowper

Re: Taller than Me
You are taller than the tallest tree... so beautiful your poetry.
The journey, the challenge is to step into the
projection room and stop being lost in the script.
