in the game Mordor: the Depths of Dejenol, cursed items bind on equip and must be removed at Great Cost.
*holds out hand* trust me, I'm a master. Of sitting on my K.
On serious note. I hope people are less afraid of ghosts than espionage, surely

(My emphasis)
I do agree to that.
I even think that curses are most of the time created in the minds of the victims themselves out of fear, through religious dogmas, cult(-ural) believes or energy damage from unhealthy relationships.
Once one realizes that it's all a matter of mind games, one can take the decision to not become or stay a victim of these games by taking responsibility for ones own life and actions.
Sometimes it will take a lot of reflection and self-honesty, to be able to admit ones own part in the drama, but after that, through applying self-forgiveness, one will regain ones freedom.
That's how it has worked for me at two occasions in my life.
So
for me self-honesty followed by self-forgiveness is the way out.

Exit-0,
I missed this post. I guess a couple of questions first, this person read about my past history, assuming we know the source, correct? The corollary to that question is; have they listened to my Christine unplugged video? I clearly state that the curse no longer has any effect over me or on me.
ONCE MORE FOR THE RECORD: what was written was highly distorted and was consciously used to cause harm, Natural Law is known in Grace. (Please friends investigate for yourselves, keys to sovereignty are in Natural Law.)
Let me state unequivocally that the curse (I will be writing about it as it over the course of the coming months) is no longer active and hasn't been for at least two years. I am however dealing with the aftermath of it being shared
without my consent. I am also grateful for the opportunity this adversity has provided me with, the needed impetuous to bring up the profound learning I received.
If someone is afraid of me and an ancient curse they will need to look at the basis of their own fear. Two ways to go, confront it or walk away.
I just wrote a piece called The Measure of Fear... maybe that will help clarify the truth in which I stand.
And you can NOT catch a curse, a curse of the nature I dealt with was wrought and fabricated for very specific reasons. There was purposeful confusion generated from the same source by bringing in the idea of archonic infection, something the source would do very good to reflect on its self.
During the course of today and tomorrow I will be writing an extensive piece on this
type of curse. And I thank anyone for asking me anything as it helps me dive deeper into the "why" of this.
It actually wasn't all that simple to undo for while the
exercise of free determinate will is necessary, it alone wasn't enough. ie: there were layers, knots, ties, and it goes back life times. I had lots of help and helpers ... for whom I have immense gratitude. In a way you don't
rid yourself of anything, you extract from it the lessons and your energy that was stolen.
Feeling blessed,
Christine

Someone I know is interested in this website. They are concerned about joining, however, because of reading about Christine's past history with being cursed. I know, just from reading, Christine is working very hard to rid herself of the curse that once followed her.
So, the question is, can a curse be transferred to another individual, simply by being associated with that individual?
Now, I am of the opinion that a curse is much like an STD, wherein it requires intimate contact to "catch-the-disease". I'm also a firm believer that a curse can be cured by shear will power.
Are there any other opinions out there?

I have a hunch that if a curse can be real at all, it absolutely relies on mental tail-chasing to perpetuate itself or even reproduce itself.
A curse on me will meet with a serious power cut before it gets very far. If it can still function without a power source, I'll be damned.

Bingo! [bolded] and the issue with a really, really well wrought black magic curses is that you aren't aware it is being done until you are snared. Heck just look at our frickin' world. In a very real sense we are all under a curse.

Thanks, Norman, for that video find. Brilliant, short, and to the point!
To the best of my understanding, both from experience and observation, a curse, like a demonic entity, will feed your weakness. The key is to comprehend that and then accept that you've been had. In that moment, it loses its power over you. As with everything else, you have a choice: you can see it as a negative experience, or you can learn something about yourself, which in the end, is a positive experience because you'll grow from it, leaving yet fewer entry points for any future curses/demons to cause havoc with you/your life.
It's not as if we are powerless when it comes to dark magic, not at all. The more we grow – and yes, natural law is a major key here because it leaves no room for your ego to control you – the less power any darkness has over us.

Hi karelia.
When you talk about natural law, are you then talking about one of the seven laws of the universe?
Which one do you mean. Or probably more than one?
Could you elaborate on that?
Thank you

Natural law means those laws that come from Nature, which are immutable, such as the principle of vibration, or the principle of cause and effect. Mark Passio did a brilliant near-8-hour presentation on pretty much everything concerning natural law, which is posted somewhere here on the forum and can also be found on youtube, or on his own site, whatonearthishappening.com. Personally, I found watching it the best investment of my time ever.
When Natural Law is truly understood, morals are highest possible, thus eliminating harm altogether, enabling the world to live in harmony rather than the dissonance we're experiencing here.
There are seven principles encompassing Natural Law: Vibration, cause and effect, mentalism, correspondence, polarity, rhythm, and gender.

Wow. People still do that kind of stuff? Yeah, I guess so. There will always be "newbies" to any kind of practice, looking to feel their power, From what I've seen, teens who "discover magic" seem to fall for this quite a bit (I blame it on too much TV). I guess. To me... Simple fact is any working you participate in eventually lands "1/2 on the authors". Part of the energy always finds home, in some way.
Having come to that, I work less and less on things with a particular affect. I have to know the working is "clean".
The last thing of this kind I was in:
A newcomer, a powerful spirit with not many scruples, had become a member of what amounted to three different circles of very different practices. One wiccan, on a group vortex meditation kind of thing, and one a metaphysically bent "Liberal Catholic Church" group. The guy was trying to spread his influence across all three groups, and only succeeded in creating a lot of trouble, and friction.
Three of us solved it quite simply:
We formed a circle, and simply encased his spirit in a chrome, reflective ball. The idea being, all his energy, all his michief, etc was immediately reflected back upon himself. You might call it just "quickening his own karma". We made it stick, too.
Two days later, he was calling all kinds of people. "I'm sorry. Let me explain..." All he wanted to do was get back the communication he couldn't seem to get to work anymore. So we let the thing fade away.
There was no "engaging" him, getting even, making his car break down, etc. "Clean". In the end, all he wanted to do was "make it right". Which was all anyone wanted out of it.
