The system has trouble dealing with confusion. And it wants to outsource risk and uncertainty to the people. Is it possible to reverse that trend? Can a single person budge the immense system of control? Yes, he or she can! But not with our ordinary ego minds when the thoughts are too narrowly selfish. That's way too weak to even make a ripple in the system of society.

What is needed is to have an intent that resonates with a constructive direction for the entire planet earth. So how the heck to figure out such immense intents? The trick is to make decisions with the intent of being more constructive than the system. Then your intent becomes stronger than the whole power pyramid. And then the whole system has to adjust to your will. Your clear intent puts confusion into the power pyramid which means reversing the usual trend of the system forcing us to become confused.

The power pyramid pushes a lot of confusion onto us, or at least tries to do so and succeeds in an alarming majority of cases. With full individual sovereignty we can prevent that kind of attack. True sovereignty is explained by Lily and the guest in this video, such as from about 11 minutes:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p44a6WJgqgk&t=11m

Lily said something I found very interesting. True sovereignty involves ZERO hierarchy. And what is the power pyramid? It's a complete hierarchy!

Then how to take sovereignty back when the power pyramid is so dominating in our lives? I think we can realize what Lily said that we already ARE Source with full sovereignty. Doesn't that mean a huge conflict with the current system? Not necessarily. Because hierarchies are often useful for organizing society. So we can ALLOW hierarchies to function and even obey the rules in society while at the same time remain fully sovereign as individuals.

Beware of false sovereignty. We have been conditioned to fear, and out of that fear we build defenses for personal protection, and then we call that individual sovereignty. True sovereignty is something different. True individual sovereignty is personal strength. Protection is actually a sign of weakness. The more protection you have the less action you can perform. Protection makes you immobile and inflexible and drains a lot of energy from you.

Therefore recognize when the system is trying to push confusion on you. And instead of immediately, with a reflex instinctual reaction, turning the confusion into fearful thinking in order to come up with how to deal with situations, move your consciousness into the stable center of peace within and wait until the confusion has been dissolved before deciding what to do.

The word "weapon" has the connotation of conflict. And although fighting is sometimes necessary still in our world, another word that has a more constructive meaning is "tool". And one tool of confusion is to question how one is feeling in the now moment. Such as asking the question: "Is it possible to feel peace now?" Then the mind becomes confused because it doesn't know whether a feeling of peace will come or not. That deliberate confusion opens up consciousness for being receptive to increased feelings of peace. That's similar to the ACIM lesson I quoted earlier but with a focus on feeling peace with the confusion trick added.

We have throughout our fear-based history become incredible experts at manipulating others. Old organizations, ancient secret societies and other think tanks of course have immense collective knowledge about how to manipulate people, but even on a personal level we usually become very skilled at manipulating others, such as a man manipulating his wife and the wife manipulating the husband on another level and the husband has seen through that manipulation and believes he manipulates his wife on an even deeper level and his wife knows that and believes she is in control over the situation by manipulating her husband on an even deeper level and so on with seemingly no end to the incredible webs and mountains of lies and layers of manipulation.

How to solve that incredible mess of manipulations? One answer is: with confusion! Use confusion as a laser sword to cut through all layers of the whole entangled web of manipulations. This means that instead of following the usual and habitual tendency to try to outmaneuver others by coming up with ways of how to manipulate people turn your attention to your own confusion instead until smarter solutions emerge. This takes care of any and all manipulators.

We must understand that the ego is ALREADY completely confused. Imagine the universe as a big river flowing in one direction. The ego is swimming in that river in all kinds of directions using lots of efforts while being unaware of in what the direction the universe if flowing.

So we need to let go of our ego wants and an efficient method of doing that is to accept complete confusion to allow the direction of the universe to become known to us. And THEN, after we have learned how to flow with the river we can start using our ego will again to make personal choices.

I agree with this concept Anders and finally in my senior years only have to hit my head on the wall once to accept there is confusion in this situation, time, event, etc and given space and time clarity shines through for functional forward moving decisions. I don't know it is a life expereince thing that comes with age or there is just no more room for scars on the ole noggin'... :?

"The ego is nothing other than the focus of conscious attention."
Alan Watts

There will always be an ego (the individuated spirit in your matter, body) and there will always be choices. I imagine the Universe to be an ocean, a tide, a river and it is via the use of conscious awareness by which I navigate. The currents of outside events present me with the multiple choices occurring in any given moment.

Yes, without ego there is no individual self as I see it. The problem is that our egos are a result of society, which in turn programs us into a manipulated state of separation where the deeper knowledge is kept in secret by those in control.

The ego needs to be preserved, yet at the same time it needs to be transformed. And if we continue following our conditioning nothing changes and we remain struggling because of trying to deal with the confusion that arises from our unawareness of the larger flow of the "river".

The manipulators have created an artificial river in which the ego swims. And because it's artificial and based on suppression and scarcity it causes a lot of friction, not necessarily for those in control, but for us the people who are being controlled by it. The larger river remains unseen for us as long as we are hooked into the artificial river. Therefore, a useful trick is to get oneself deliberately confused about ordinary things such as money, jobs, relationships, news, education and so on, for those are all products of the artificial river. This allows the universal river of truth to gradually become visible to us and then we can make personal choices based on the universal flow instead of the manipulated artificial flow of top-down control.
