So the US had a nice little run. Achieving great power status in the multi polar world post WW1, achieving super power status in the bi-polar world post WW2, and with the collapse of her only peer competitor the Soviet Union around 1990, had its way as the unipole power of this planet until just a couple or so years ago.

She could have easily still maintained the much respected status as one great power amongst others in this rapidly developing multipolar world, but that's not good enough, she got used to running the whole joint with an iron fist, and she ain't about to be sharing power with anyone!

Russia was supposed to be strangled by economic sanctions after finally leaving Putin with no choice but to take care of the Ukraine problem on his border that was US induced, the world would look on as a new super weapon (economic shock and awe) brought Russia to its knees, and then it was on to take care of an isolated China.

Right...

Well that didn't quite work out as planned for the demonic neocons running this big machine. Turns out Russia was well prepared for that shit. The sanctions have backfired, the West in general has all but run their weapons stockpiles down to bare bones, Russia and China are now together like blood brothers, and they're both getting stronger as the collective West becomes weaker. Rapidly.

As the eyes of the world look on...

"The Golden Billion" are in dire straights as there's not only trouble abroad, but there's trouble at home as well. Out of control homelessness, a decades long stagnated job market, inflation, banks failing, and the people are grumbling (although with little true awareness as to why).

These neocons think they can just continue to squeeze and propagandize their way out of trouble on the home front, and have crazed visions in their heads that the empire can full spectrum dominate again through the use of the only thing they think that matters, which is the military. The battle lines have been drawn, they still think they can defeat Russia in their back yard through the use of their proxy in Ukraine, and defeat China in their back yard through the use of the other proxy, Taiwan.

This is madness pure and simple. I'm seeing countries backing away from us the way people warily avoid a stark raving crazy man walking down the street, and the crowd is gathering not only for safety, but to watch what this stark raving crazy man is going to do next to try and regain what is already gone forever.

I just mentioned to my wife that we're heading into turbulent waters not seen since the 1960's...

But this is going to make those times pale in comparison. Collapsing empires don't happen very often, but when they do -

A new, world order is born in its wake, to replace the old. (This is the real definition of the infamous "new world order")

A multi polar (new) world order was born after WW1, a bi-polar (new) world order was born after WW2, a uni-polar (new) world order was born in 1990, and now another multi polar (new) world order is currently in the birthing process.

Enjoy the spectacle folks. And you know what the "funny" thing is? America's new peer competitors now don't even need to engage this drowning hegemon in battle it so desperately craves - all they need to do is be patient, keep their cool, keep up with their unifying efforts, keep working on a viable alternative to the once almighty dollar, and watch this fucking thing collapse under its own weight.

Me? As an American I'm bitter/sweet about this. On the one hand - I'm not looking forward to a collapsed economy, the very real possibility of some sort of weird civil war, or even the government itself collapsing.

On the other hand - In a way this needs to happen, and I'd rather just go down with the ship as opposed to my country igniting WW3 on its way out. I well recognize that the eyes of the world have seen enough of this super power maintaining that status at the expense of keeping the rest of the world rather poor, and destabilized.

As an American I'm ashamed of that fact, just as I'm ashamed of what my people did in order for this civilization to eventually reach from the east coast, to the west coast. We have a lot to answer for, but knowing that people are people wherever one goes, if we could just somehow draw within for a while, give ourselves a good long look in the mirror, make some changes and re-emerge as a great power but willing to form working partnerships with other nations great and small, I truly believe the world would welcome us back on the world stage with open arms.

(Sigh)... but that's just my fantasy... I take a good look at how deeply "American Exceptionalism" and "Manifest Destiny" is ingrained in our collective psyche here, how we're so deeply propagandized that we don't even realize we're the victims of it, and not to mention that our neocon deep state will more likely lead us into a Custer's last stand scenario rather that a reset (and I don't mean "The Great Reset") I'm afraid we're all going to have to ride this thing till it bottoms out, no different than when a hopeless junkie or alcoholic bottoms out.

Do we bottom out and then look for a way back up? Do we bottom out and then finish the implosion all the way to its bitter end? Something in between?

Do we flame out and take the whole rest of the world with us?

I dunno, but these are my thoughts and assessment of things as they stand today. More later as needed, but that's quite enough for now.

Historic times we're living in. Buckle up as we ride out the fall of the United States of America.

There's so many moving parts to this, and still plenty more to touch on; but something I neglected to touch on here, is how much better off a big hunk off the rest of the world is going to be due to these massive, tectonic shifts taking place.

The name of the empire game has been stay on top, by keeping "the others" down, the golden billion reaps the rewards as possible competitors learn to stagger ever onwards with a boot to the throat.

Much of the global south has known for some time what the real story was, but like Woodrow Wilson once said - "They know that there is a power somewhere so organized, so subtle, so watchful, so interlocked, so complete, so pervasive, that they better not speak above their breath when they speak in condemnation of it".

But that's all changing now, rapidly, those with boot on throat are beginning to see some light at the end of the tunnel. The boot doesn't command the same oompf any more. Many are becoming unafraid to speak of their captors above their breath, some even like the president of Mexico, to even dare speak its name under the flag of raised middle finger. That takes some cojones, but the ether is crackling with the winds of change - and in it's current lashing out in a tantrum, all the US is now doing is the equivalent of trying to prevent the leaves from falling come the end of summer.

It can't be done, it's just fighting the gravitational pull of history.

I was captivated by this interview on a Nigerian news channel. These guys are so genuine, sincere, intelligent - the interviewer poses probing questions, the interviewee returns with well informed, thoughtful answers. How refreshing!

And the Nigerians have eyes to the future they must have all but thought was squashed forever by the boot. Note how there's almost more communicated at times by what is omitted, than what is actually said, Nigeria looks to be entering the realm of daring speak of it above their breath, but still nowhere ready to dare speak its name. Not yet anyway. Although for anyone with eyes to "see", the name was being clearly spoken without actually doing so. Plausible deniability comes to mind.

I'm happy for Nigeria, for Venezuela, Cuba (especially Cuba!), Iran, Syria, and so many countless others of whom we brainwashed Americans have been taught are "the bad guys", or "the unimportant people".

Fred, it is so good to read your writing even though the subject is a heavy one. What a stark reality we are staring at—no matter where in the world it grows darker. In Mexico there is a saying; "When the US sneezes, Mexico gets pneumonia." Though currently surface life here goes on almost as normal, prices are increasing but no where near elsewhere in the world. Our town is fueled by tourism, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and almost seems to be bustling if you don't look too hard at the long shadows approaching. New chic restaurants and housing developments pop up like mushrooms so if someone isn't aware of the rest of the world, they can believe to be living in a bubble, pretending that other's woes won't touch them.

I was speaking with a few friends around the café table today and per usual we were talking about the rapid changes while lifting each other with good spirits. I brought up Vanessa Beeley and neither had heard of her, Jerm Warfare is a well versed interviewer so this video is a good synoptic account of what the Syrian people have endured. Vanessa is a brave boots-on-the-ground journalist, someone whose reporting I have grown to respect and trust over many years. It fits in here on the crumbling of an empire simply because it's an up close view of the chaos and suffering that the Western powers have wrecked across the world.

I agree with you that empire has to crumble, by the law of natural dynamics nothing can expand forever—certainly not by waging war against others. It can't be done, it's just fighting the gravitational pull of history. Great line by the way. My leaving Amerika so early in life was greatly due to the hypocrisy I felt lurking just beneath the surface. It was a place that never appeared to offer me anything I really wanted, even so it is the culture I grew up in so watching the fall isn't fun. Oddly, as I watch this in almost slow motion demolition, there are good things, good people that rise in my sight bringing a certain nostalgia for the good times, the innocence of masses that just wanted to work with some dignity to put a roof over their family's head. If I am honest I probably disdained them in my rebellious youth, not yet realizing that these salt of the earth folks are the backbone that holds up nations.

What will rise out of the ashes remains to be seen. Certainly the most interesting of times and to think that a decade ago we really couldn't imagine the impact of what is happening now. While we diligently gathered the scattered clues of the Great Conspiracy, I don't think anyone saw just how hard or swift the hammer was going to come down.

Meanwhile, as long as we have breath life goes on.

Perhaps it is time for people to take a long deep look at the concept of karma, the generalized belief is that we are in an endless cycle of repetition based on past actions. What one sows, one reaps is true however this doesn't take into account the possibility of retrocausality. "We’ve all heard of the “consequences of our actions,” where something in our past somehow brings about something in our future. Another common way to look at it is through the eyes of sowing seeds. You reap what you sow. However, some scientists think that it could also work the other way, through something they call retrocausality, which means your actions in the future somehow influence the past."

Pondering this has helped my consciousness connect to a fullness of potentiality—what if a X number of people reach escape velocity, thereby changing the past so that the future is no longer caught in the seemingly endless loops of repeating patterns.

Sooooooo, I reckon it's only natural as empire loses control and credibility abroad, to seek more control at home as the seeds of dissent are sprouting. We already know how controlled media, and even vast portions of independent media are - Americans are the most propagandized people in the world, precisely because the Project has been so wildly successful that they don't believe they're propagandized at all.

But as we know even a small percentage of people can wind up causing "problems" for the deep state, but with the banking crisis looming, the world ditching the dollar, and the winds of war edging toward gale force by now, alarm bells will even start going off for normies who may then begin to wonder what some other people have to say as they realize they are being lied to.

That's what happened with me as a good example. I was still a normie all the way up to early 2009, when I finally got fed up hearing 9/11 conspiracy talk, it was increasingly bothering me, so to the desk top computer in the dark of pre dawn one morning I went to disprove it for myself once and for all. Well, an hour or so later I found myself staring blankly into the screen with "oh my god, it's true..." streaming through my shock and awed consciousness.

They lost another one that morning, and as they lose control overseas, they CANNOT afford to lose control at home as well. This is Custer's last stand.

Which brings me to my point: whether or not one agrees with them, black leftist organizations have every bit as much right to free speech as anyone else, even when the government doesn't like it, but free speech is now being weaponized in the form of arresting people for it. The "Uhuru" movement based in St. Petersburg Florida is a socialist group that aligns with the Russian point of view on many things (including this terrible war), they regularly speak out against the US government, and it looks like we're on our way now for that kind of speech to be construed as a threat to (yes you guessed it) - wait for it - national security.

Aaron Maté of "The Grayzone" is one of the few non corrupted and objective journalists left out there, he and Katie Halper lay out what's going on here.

Now just as much of the rest of the world is recoiling away from, and at the same time starting to openly dare to denounce the US as its bullying tactics become more pronounced and aggressive - I think the same phenomena will wind up manifesting itself here at home as well. The more the grip of control is tightened, the more people are going to start saying "hey what the fuck is going on here?"

Just like me that fateful and life changing morning on the computer wondering what the deal is with this pesky 911 thing, and seeking to settle the matter, once they start asking that question, they're going to start finding their answers. And just like me, thery're not going to like what they're seeing. I went through a period of extreme confusion and anger, and the same thing is going to start happening with this.

There's gonna be trouble, big trouble as in making the 1960's pale in comparison, but it looks like we as a country will have to walk through that fire to get to the other side as the empire continues to crumble from within.

I am getting reports from friends that they are feeling more out of sorts than usual; high pitched constant ringing in the ears, disorientation, and uncustomary fatigue. These people are not individuals who would not normally complain or comment. Since I have having my own version of the above I thought it worth commenting. Also wondering if people in other parts of the world are experiencing anything similar. A metaphorical way of describing the overall effect—feels like treading water as something tries to pull you under. Also like being in a bubble with senses dampened down.

Perhaps an inner preparation for what is to come.

Well, can't say that I've particularly noticed those types of things, other than that I've had tinnitus for decades anyway, the main thing I keep noticing is just how completely captured people are by the Western propaganda machine. It's almost surreal. I certainly see the underlying influential characteristics of a higher power behind all of this, but it's so nebulous it's more just something that I notice, but don't talk about.

Of course it's different in a setting such as this, but in daily life it can often be a conversation ender, or even a relationship ender just to speak to the problem of the physical nuts and bolts of a desperate war machine in action, much less the woo aspect.
