Luci the Cat Goes Missing then Mysteriously Reappears

Luci, aka: Luci-Fur, Luci the Terrible, The Claw, and other names used to describe her character went missing. All her names are really terms of endearment as she was a bit twisted from the abuse she received from her previous owner, she is truly adorable. After rescuing her it took a few years for her to find her grove and not randomly scratch or bite the hand that reached over to caress her.
Monday night when I was going to bed big rain drops splattered on the windows. In review I don't recall seeing the cats in the house as I went to bed though this isn't unusual. On Tuesday morning I had to leave the house early so wasn't really paying much attention as I dressed and gathered my things for the day leaving in a bit of a rush. Returning that evening I realized that Luci wasn't around and hadn't been that morning — she's always waiting for my return to be fed. Looking in all the drawers that she routinely hides in, opening every cupboard and drawer in the whole house she was no where to be found. My senses were not picking up her presence so I went outside, scanned the roof top, opened my storage trailer as I called her name walking the perimeter of the property. No Luci, she never wanders far but thinking she may have I gave up for the night. It squalled again that night, a pretty good downpour.
Not sensing her anywhere and having lost three cats lately my feelings accepted that she was gone. I asked a few friends with sight to look and both came back with not good news. In a restless night with weird dreams and fully waking at 2:30 AM, I busied myself trying to keep my mind off of Luci. Laying down again around 5:00 I fell into a state of half sleep-half awake and had a vision of an owl swooping down and carrying Luci away. For me this was symbolic of death or it could have actually happened.
Wednesday, still no Luci and more evening rain. Acceptance that she was gone had set in.
This morning finding myself in a flow state, meaning I was moving gently through the morning without much thought. The household and garden chores were done without resistance as I prepared for departure. On some unknown impulse I stepped onto my back patio to brush my hair feeling the warmth of the sun radiating over the mountain tops, this is something I have never done as I often leave with my hair unbrushed all day. As I stood there I heard a demurred meow, looking up there was Luci on the roof staring at me. I have no idea how she got there, she's never climbed the tree next to the roof before and clearly she had no idea how to climb down so I got the tall ladder and grabbing her by the scruff of her neck carried her to the ground. She looked no worse for the wear, calmly went inside to eat seeming totally nonplussed.
Honestly I don't know what to think about this, it does seem surreal in many ways so I will simply accept it as a minor miracle.
She has earned a new name, Luci the Miracle.
