In case you're not familiar with Are You Being Served? (and points if you can match the episodes with the pussy jokes...and the writer was said to have told an interviewer they were always just jokes about cats and didn't know what this double entendre nonsense was about), here's a classic from another BBC sitcom, Mrs. Brown's Boys. A little racier (sort of) but equally engaging. Because you gotta laugh!!!

To set the scene up, Mrs. Brown and her friend (the one with the glasses) decided that because they'd had such a crappy day they'd do something different and try a brazilian bikini wax kit. I do like a good laugh, and I do appreciate "brit coms" ... but is the unfortunate turn towards "pussy" jokes rather necessary? Seems to me like juvenile "potty humour" ... inappropriate and bordering on offensive ... and takes away from the ambiance of an otherwise peaceful/loving place to be ... or, am I just not getting something and being a "sour puss" ... pun intended ...
