In my search for ninja pancake yesterday, I came across a pancake idea so incredible, I had to make it this morning. BACON pancakes. Pour your batter out in a oblong (bacon) shape, press a piece of bacon into the middle, and otherwise cook as a normal pancake. The bacon is cooked beforehand, of course. In the vernacular of my teen years, these were the motherfuckin bomb ass shit, yo. It was also the first time I made pancake batter from scratch, and I shall never look back to the premade mix, as with the exception of the bacon, all of the ingredients were organic. This recipe was an immediate contender for the best breakfast food I have ever experienced.
