Ever since Rad mentioned during a conversation that he "could not hear me" when I used the word, I have been self conscious about it...it's been infused into my lexicon since I was real young, and I definitely abuse it.

You can tell when I'm charged up cuz I can't contain it, I just let it rip....though please do know that I'm working on it--I recognize that it's definitely boring at this point, at least to me. I'm trying to find more interesting and diverse words...and an even stronger expletive ;)

It is a remarkably versatile word. In fact I've forgotten a lot about grammar, and am fairly certain that the word in question satisfies so many parts of a sentence that one could count with both hands and still run out.

It can be used with and without the so called 'understood you' and make sense regardless, that's a bonus -- as in "You *******!" Versus simply, "*******!"

What the 'F---' and What the 'H---' share special cultural status with 'Goodbye'. All 3 are handily compressed phrases comprised of commonly utilized words.

Lol regarding the "I can't hear you" lady. People dont need to curse in order to be annoying, like the dog choking walrus people downstairs of me. Loud is perfectly sufficient.

In fact, loud is a 4 letter word (and so is word).
