I’m bumping this from over 4 years ago. Still two of my favorite songs - on my mind today.

It was in Oct. 2016, in Berlin, during Michelberger Music.
Between each show of the festival, we were kidnapping a person in the audience, which we were taking to a secret room where an artist was waiting.

For more than ten years, La Blogotheque has changed the way people experience music videos. We film beautiful, rare and intimate sessions with your favorite artists, and the ones you are soon to fall in love with. Come, stay a while, and be taken away.

Between the two of them, a unique experience : a One To One concert.

My ability to listen to music is limited, unfortunately, since most videos won’t play with our rural internet service. But I still love music, and many oldies but goodies play in my head as I go about my day. Here’s one that’s been running through my head lately.

This song keeps playing over and over in my heart since I stood next to the bed when my soul mate made her way off this merry go round. If I could have had the champagne at that moment, I would have.

Gotta love the heart

Soul candy....

I find it goes well with this for some reason:
Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

(Dylan Thomas)

Here and now
Here and now
Can't hold me down
Can't hold me down

Won't hold us down
Won't hold us down

Live it out
Let it out
Get it out
Shout it out
Won't hold us down
Won't hold us down

A truly respectful tribute to Joni Mitchel, although I can't figure-out the meaning to the title:
Christopher Cross-Roberta
"She is the sun
She is the seed and water
She's the shaman
Don Juan's reckless daughter
