In that case I want you to think I'm wishing you a Merry Christmas.
If you don't like Christmas and now you know that I'm wanting Christmas celebrators to think that I'm wishing them a Merry Christmas, you might be offended.
In that case I want you to know that I didn't really mean it when I said that I want them to think that I'm wishing them a Merry Christmas...
Am I afraid of conflict?
The joys of trying to control how other people feel evaporate every drip of my peace of mind. I hope that last sentence didn't offend anybody...
