OK so imagine American Dad or Family Guy episode about Scientology. Except the boats are all rustoleums etc. So the Church turns to the Internet and decides to recruit and or build a RonBot Army to perform data mining and for profit IT over the phone on the side.

Imagine Bender from Futurama when I say RonBot BTW. They are employed by the cover company Cyberdime Systems (lmao terminator joke). It turns out that their AI is flawed and the RonBots get hijacked by The All Seeing I, a sentient CERN computer (Lol).

Then the ETs come back to fight the AI driven RonBot Army. The humans complain about being caught in the crossfire. ETs reply with "this isnt about the survival of the human race, this is about right and wrong!"

Then the humans decide to Ascend in order to avoid the wars and escape the RonBot Army.

Unfortunately they are overcome by SS Rapture, a black hole driven spacecraft that takes most of them to the Lake of Fire and ditches the rest on an inhospitable planet for failing to properly WorShip.
