No Soliciting ;)

Post by Naga_Fireball »

I still get a little thrill in my toes
When I recall our prose

Halting lines, many times
Too clumsy to procure.

Shy, lithe, fleeting and demure
It was a delight taking your lure.

Your eyes circled me like the hands
Of the courtroom clock

I know that you know
What's on my docket @@

I'll sign on your pretentious petty line
As if love can be dismissed with one swish

No soliciting, but I'm still buying
If you ever stop pretending
And start actually trying

To love
No soliciting

But you can have my love for free

No soliciting
You can have my cake and help me eat it too
I never really wanted bread from you

Were you really molded in such a shallow pan
That you can't see the depth of a woman's desire
Hotter than the tallest fire and deeper than the coldest grave

There is no counsel for a broken heart
Brotherhood falls asunder at the touch of fire!
He finds his fellow guilty of a skin
Not coloured like his own, and having power
To enforce the wrong, for such a worthy cause
Dooms and devotes him as his lawful prey.

If opposites attract
Why do we keep running into each other
?

The first few passes,
We were both staring at the ground
Looking into the abyss of denial

But we learn the hard way
Love is not only blind
But so very hungry

I see your kind patient eyes
Your darkly suffering but alluring
Beautiful eyes, so wise in their tenderness

I thought I knew what suffering was
But after seeing you again I realized
How little of pain I've tasted

You must have known what was in store for you
And so did I

But this love was a surprise
Like the tender shoot that rises from darkened earth

Our love was hard to see at first
But grew so quickly that we were overwhelmed

When I see your beautiful eyes
I know we are both fighting fires

I hope you survive yours
Similarly I hope that I survive mine
But a future without your kind eyes
Is a dark future indeed.

It is possible that i am too young
To understand love
But I feel the power it has

The power to break stones into dust
To melt ice into babys breath

You have the key to my imprisoned heart
And I am so scared to fly.
Brotherhood falls asunder at the touch of fire!
He finds his fellow guilty of a skin
Not coloured like his own, and having power
To enforce the wrong, for such a worthy cause
Dooms and devotes him as his lawful prey.

He is such a beautiful man.. Why can't there be enough to go around... Hee hee!
Brotherhood falls asunder at the touch of fire!
He finds his fellow guilty of a skin
Not coloured like his own, and having power
To enforce the wrong, for such a worthy cause
Dooms and devotes him as his lawful prey.

There was not much movement
But your motion moved worlds
My hand on the door,
And you on that couch,
Sitting so much taller than the others.

We gave each other bedroom eyes by accident
You saw me turn red, I saw you stiffen
Like an owl who wakes early,
Your eyes grew wide and we were both laughing inside.

I think i ran into the bathroom, to gather a moment of sanity.
I tried so hard not to look up when I opened the door.
But oh my God. I hope you were looking.

You were so polite and attentive,
As chance would have it, leaping up to speak
A second after the lady at the window said have a nice day, and tragically a minute before your group was called into the backroom.

Thank you for speaking to me,
And moving my world with your care.
You are like a great tree; sometimes I just want to lean against and sleep... Other times I want to hear the wind in your branches, feel your roots drawing up the rain.

But you are growing in another garden,
My tall and beautiful tree.
I must be careful not to love you too much.
Please dont let time freeze my heart too long
To feel your spring.
Brotherhood falls asunder at the touch of fire!
He finds his fellow guilty of a skin
Not coloured like his own, and having power
To enforce the wrong, for such a worthy cause
Dooms and devotes him as his lawful prey.
