The Big Stick

Post by Naga_Fireball »

People cross their legs and cover their mouths when the word Violence is spoken.

They cough and look away when confronted by the question of Aggression.

They shrug and scratch their heads at the argument of whether or not to bear arms.

They stare stupidly when asked for opinions about replacing warlike people with warlike appliances.

They open their arms to a world where a man pushes a button and a machine does a man's job.

The simple damn truth is, if it wasn't for violence and aggression, the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA WOULD NOT EXIST.

Yet those who excel in the field are the first to be singled out as freaks, dangerous, inappropriate and outmoded.

This is happening in the youngest global superpower .

We are more paranoid about anger than we are about poison, theft, and fraud.

We point at the warrior and blame him for the mistakes of doctors, lawyers, and politicians.

The warrior is just doing his job. There is nothing strange or unusual about violent people.

Now, what really really scares the bastards in charge of this shit pile is when a warrior stands up straight, shakes the cobwebs out of his ears, and speaks out.
Brotherhood falls asunder at the touch of fire!
He finds his fellow guilty of a skin
Not coloured like his own, and having power
To enforce the wrong, for such a worthy cause
Dooms and devotes him as his lawful prey.

This poor policeman got shot up in Alaska,
Apparently he had a strong premonition and told his wife and kids to be prepared, he was about to get shot that night, then it happened.

"Brandt was wearing body armor, but was struck by bullets and shrapnel in the legs and an eye. The father-of-four had been well enough to speak at a community council meeting earlier this week, at which he said that he had predicted to his family that he would be shot."
