Through reams of time, stories written.
\nWorlds collide.<\/p>\n

Fortress of steel walls built.
\nThis is mine.<\/p>\n

Sovereign Free, what of me?
\nTightly bound,
\nNo freedom found,
\nWords confound.<\/p>\n

A child cries inside thick walls.
\nMuffled, muted murmurs now.
\nDesperation gives to death,
\nInnocence locked and kept.<\/p>\n

Bundled and ill equipped,
\nAscends the icy rift.
\nDare not he lose his grip,
\nFolly! he screams as he falls.<\/p>\n

Laid to rest in barren blizzards fields,
\nRemains haunted upon this day,
\nNo forgiveness or resolve.
\nLest he is to forever dissolve.<\/p>\n

Into endless nothingness.<\/p>\n

Hardened is the heart that beats,
\nUnknown that it has become the beast,
\nCries out to a world,
\nLook! what the I hath endured.<\/p>\n

Lest the man forget
\nThat he himself this day beget,
\nIn reliving of the event
\nThat has so rent his soul bereft.<\/p>\n

Loving Truly wraps her arms,
\nGently whispers of lost charms.
\nDays of warmth and laughter ring,
\nRemembrance of lighter things.<\/p>\n

Eternally She holds this flame.
\nSmall against the great dark plane,
\nPenetration into space,
\nThe voyager to parts unknown.<\/p>\n

Great Mystery is the key.
\nShe appears to laugh mercilessly.<\/p>\n

Knowing not from where he came,
\nStill he doth choose this game.
\nLabyrinth and maze is thus made.
\nTwists and turns but lead to dead ends.<\/p>\n

Deeper still will come home,
\nTo arrive one day to central point.<\/p>\n

Imploding in upon the self,
\nA stellar radiant one
\nOf carbon born.
\nDiamond light, polished stone.<\/p>\n
