Since I'm extremely new to the forum, I've decided to test the waters with a poem. I hope to eventually contribute in other areas soon.
I wrote this poem for our beautiful Mother. I hope you enjoy..
"Twilight in Your Wooded Temple"
In the twilight, unseen hands lead me to your altar,
I follow the scent of damp earth, my foot steps never falter.
Like twining ivy wet with dew, I'm caught up in your snare;
I seek your strange, harsh embrace, in fragrant branches so rare.
Here, in your Wooded Temple, I lay in your roots, entwined;
Music from other worlds are swirling within my mind,
Furtive whispers from strange gods dance inside my head;
I feel your leaves weave a shroud, as if for the Blessed Dead.
I close my eyes as your tendrils hold me ever so close,
Letting go of all worldly concern in my sweet repose.
Now, forever dreaming within your fragrant flowers,
I'll dwell for eternity in your ancient twilight bowers...

Thank you Edythe - so beautiful to hear your voice. Poetry is my own muse, so much about listening between the words and the ability to capture the depth and bring it to the surface.
Much love for a new friend.

The journey, the challenge is to step into the
projection room and stop being lost in the script.
