my feet can finally touch the earth.

I can breathe again.

I can hear the music.
By the river,
I remember myself.
By the river,
I am at once alone and never alone.
By the river,
I can see that death is not an enemy.
By the river,
I can appreciate life with all of its strength and weakness.
By the river,
I can see the light.
By the river,
I am reborn.
When I stand in the river,
I can feel God.
There are not many of us anymore,
Who hear the river's voice and love her.
But one who is at peace with this loneliness
can see that this place is so full of life.
Every creature has a name and a measure of the creators love in its heart.
